1. Scope
This policy explains how CareHome Signal handles information through its public pages, subscriber accounts, billing integrations, email programs and business-intelligence service.
2. Data the service uses
The data product is limited to public facility and business licensing information, including facility names, license identifiers, public business addresses, licensed capacity, public business contact details, business operators or licensees, status and observed changes. Source provenance and hashed raw snapshots are retained to audit those records.
3. Data the service does not collect
CareHome Signal is not designed to collect or process protected health information. Do not submit resident names, patient details, diagnoses, treatment information, medication, medical records, payment-card numbers or other sensitive personal information.
4. Account and commercial information
When you sign in, the service receives a stable Sites user identifier and account email for identity and access control. It may store your company name, saved filters, alert preferences, referral status and product activity. Stripe processes subscription checkout, payment methods and card data; CareHome Signal receives subscription and customer identifiers, plan status and billing events, but not raw card numbers.
5. Email channels
Transactional customer email, opt-in marketing email and B2B outbound prospecting are treated as separate channels. Suppression records are retained so opt-outs, hard bounces and complaints remain honored. Marketing consent can be withdrawn through the unsubscribe link without disabling necessary account or billing messages.
6. Analytics
The service records product events such as landing source, sample-feed interaction, checkout start, subscription conversion and cancellation. Unsupported claims are not generated from those events. Advertising integrations remain disabled until explicitly configured.
7. Service providers
CareHome Signal may use Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and storage, Stripe for billing, an email delivery provider, authorized official-data endpoints, and configured business-prospect or outreach providers. Each provider receives only the information needed for its function.
8. Retention and security
Licensing snapshots and audit records may be retained to preserve event history and provenance. Account and marketing records are retained for service operation, legal compliance, suppression and fraud prevention. Secrets remain server-side, internal endpoints require signed requests, and paid access is granted only from verified Stripe status.
9. Choices and corrections
You may unsubscribe from marketing, change subscriber alerts, cancel through Stripe, or request correction of a public business record. Use Contact & Corrections without submitting resident, patient or health information.
10. Independent service
CareHome Signal is an independent commercial data service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any state or federal agency.
